EDINBURG – Roberto “Beto” Quintanilla, 67, passed away Sunday, September 13, 2026, at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg.

Beto loved to talk shit, If he didn’t talk shit to you, he didn’t like you.

He is preceded in death by his father, Alfredo Quintanilla; brother, Alfredo Quintanilla Jr., and sister, Yolanda Quintanilla.

Mr. Quintanilla is survived by his spouse, Belinda Morales; five children, Robert Quintanilla Jr., Leroy (Claudia) Quintanilla, Christina Hendrickson, Valerie Morales, Mary (Juan) Luna; 12 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; eight sisters; one brother; and his beloved dog, Fat Boy.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, September 17, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. Friday, September 18, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Edinburg. Entombment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
