SILVESTRE RIVERA, SR.
ALAMO - Silvestre Rivera, Sr., 57, died Wednesday, September 23, 2009 at Methodist Hospital in Houston, Texas.
Born in Alamo, Mr. Rivera had lived there all of his life and was a member of Sion Del Todo Poderoso in Alamo.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Alberto and Concepcion Rivera.
Mr. Rivera is survived by his wife, Maria Rivera; three children, Senaida Rivera, Yesenia Rivera and Silvestre Rivera, Jr.; brothers and sisters, Alejandro Rivera, Alberto Rivera, Jr., Constancia Guerrero, Monica Acosta, Santos Salinas and Ausencia Villarreal, all of Alamo.
Visitation will be held from 3 to 9 p.m. with 7 p.m. prayer service, today, September 25, 2009 at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, September 26, 2009 at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
