PHARR-Olivia Rivera, 83, passed away Friday, May 25, 2018, at Amara Hospice in Edinburg.
Miss Rivera was born and raised in Pharr. She lived in San Antonio for 40 years and spent the last ten years of her life in Pharr. She was a member of St. Jude's Catholic Church in Pharr.
Miss Rivera is preceded in death by her parents, Paula and Apolonio Rivera.
She is survived by three siblings, Rafael (Delia) Z. Rivera, Julia (Bobby †) Holsomback, Oralia (Noe) Rodriguez; and numerous loving nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Monday, May 28, 2018, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 29, 2018, at St. Jude's Catholic Church in Pharr. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
