SAN JUAN – Mr. Ben J. Risko, 96 passed away, Saturday, June 18, 2016, at McAllen Nursing Home in McAllen.
Mr. Risko was born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and lived in San Juan the last 14 years.
Mr. Risko is preceded in death by his parents, Adreas and Francis Risko.
Ben is survived by his loving wife Elsie I. Risko of San Juan.
Visitation will be from 8 to 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 21, 2016, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 9 a.m., Tuesday, June 21, 2016, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Interment will follow at Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery in Mission.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of San Juan.
