HERMELINDA M. RIOS PHARR – Hermelinda M. Rios, 83, died Friday, November 2, 2012, at her residence in Pharr. She is preceded in death by a brother, Ramiro Moreno; and a sister, Amparo Moreno. Mrs. Rios is survived by her husband, Emilio Rios, of Pharr; a son, Alejandro (Elma) Moreno, of Kingsville; a daughter, Lynda (Tony) Castillo, of McAllen; two sisters, Guillermina Moreno, of Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexcio, Elva Moreno, of Hammond, Indiana; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary today, November 4, 2012, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday, November 5, 2012, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan. Cremation will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
