CARLOS RIOS
EDINBURG – Carlos Rios, 71, died Sunday, May 28, 2017, at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg.
Born in General Bravo, NL, MX, Mr. Rios had lived in Edinburg all of his life.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Julian and Ramona Rios; and a granddaughter, Julissa Chavez.
Mr. Rios is survived by his wife, Juana Rios; two sons, Carlos Rios, Jr., Gilberto (Teresa) Rios; three daughters, Norma Alicia (Jose, Jr.) Velazquez, Blanca Estela (Saul) Jauregui, Diana (Jose Luis) Chavez; 13 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and six siblings, Julian Rios, Jr., Jose Maria Rios, Artemio Rios, Pedro Rios, Maria Trinidad Gonzalez and Tomasa Rios, all of Edinburg.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary, Tuesday, May 30, 2017, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 31, 2017, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
