RICARDO CORTEZ
McALLEN- Ricardo Cortez, 77, died Saturday, October 26, 2024, at Alfredo Gonzalez Texas State Veterans Home in McAllen.
Mr. Cortez is survived by his three children, Manny (Layla) Cunningham, Ricardo (Cynthia) Cortez, and Regina Cortez; a grandchild; two siblings, Nieves “Queenie” Cortez, and Diana Franta.
Visitation will begin at 5 p.m., with a 6 p.m. prayer service on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Military honors will be conducted by VFW Post 8788 of McAllen. Cremation will take place at Memorial Cremation Center in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
