SAN JUAN- Ricardo Contreras, 76, passed away Saturday, June 28, 2025, at San Juan Nursing Home.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Pedro and Maria Flora Contreras; and a brother, Jose Vidal Contreras.

Ricardo is survived by his six children, Ruben Contreras, Laura Contreras Ornelas, Ricardo Contreras Jr., Monica Ann Contreras, Rocio Contreras, San Juanita Contreras; several grandchildren; and 11 siblings, Nicolasa Palomo, Josefina Suarez, Jose Luis Contreras, Yolanda Castillo, Alejandra Contreras Parra, Eloisa C. Fernandez, Flora Vazquez, Mercedes C. Hernandez, Natalia Dominquez, Maria De La Luz Zagal, Maria Del Socorro Varela, and Abel Contreras.

Visitation will begin at 5 p.m., with a 6 p.m. rosary Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan. Interment will follow at San Juan Cemetery.Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
