MINERVA REYNA
EDINBURG – Minerva Reyna, 85, died Sunday, December 27, 2009, at Edinburg Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Reyna was born in La Reforma, Texas and had lived in Edinburg most of her life. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Edinburg.
Mrs. Reyna is preceded in death by her parents, Jose and Barbarita Garza; a brother, Jorge Garza and a sister, Hilda Garza.
She is survived by her son, Raul G. Reyna Jr.; three grandsons, Jimmy Roy Reyna, John Paul Reyna and Jude Michael Reyna; a great-granddaughter, Ashley Collins Reyna all of Edinburg; two brothers, Joe Garza of Edinburg and Isaac Garza of McAllen; and a sister, Sylvia Guerra of Edinburg.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 pm with a 7 pm rosary, today, December 29, 2009 at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 East Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 10 am Tuesday, December 30, 2009 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Edinburg. Cremation will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
