EDINBURG - Manuela Reyna, 84, died Monday, May 30, 2011 at her residence in Edinburg.
Born in Donna, Mrs. Reyna had lived in Edinburg all of her life.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Reymundo Reyna; a son, Alfredo Reyna; her parents, Pedro and Enriqueta Gomez; and a brother, Pablo Gomez.
Mrs. Reyna is survived by nine children, Ricardo (Sylvia) Reyna, Raquel (Francisco) Montaño, Rogelio Reyna, San Juanita (Alfredo Tijerina) Moreno, Roel (Blanca) Reyna, Esperanza (Oscar) Martinez, Ruben Reyna, Rene (Judy) Reyna, Reymundo (Maria) Reyna, Jr., all of Edinburg; 37 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; four sisters, Josefa, Elida, Guadalupe and Virginia; and five brothers, Juan, Jose, Cruz, Leonel and Pedro.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary, today, May 31, 2011 at Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at Memorial Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
