RAUL ZAMORA

EDINBURG – Raul Zamora, 87, passed away Sunday, September 8, 2024, at Edinburg Regional Medical Center. 

He is preceded in death by his son, Raul Zamora Jr.; parents, Luis Zamora and Santos Sustaita; two sisters, Maria Antonia Zamora Carreon and Socorro Delgado Gonzalez; and a brother, Francisco S. Delgado.  

Mr. Zamora is survived by his wife, Dora Salinas Zamora; four children, Rolando (Magda) Zamora, Ricardo (Enriqueta) Zamora, Gabriela (Dennis) Ahlstrom, Dora Zamora (Jorge) Flores; 14 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Teresa D. Hernandez. 

Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. with a 6 p.m. rosary Wednesday, September 11, 2024, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Thursday, September 12, 2024, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg. 

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
