RAUL RODRIGUEZ CURA

MCALLEN – Raul Rodriguez Cura, 75, passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at Hidalgo Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Edinburg. 

He is preceded in death by his granddaughter, Michelle Raylynn Cura; parents, Raul and Margarita Cura; and his brother, Leonel Cura. 

Mr. Cura is survived by his five children, Carlos (Cynthia Yvette Sanchez) Cura, Michael (Gloria Cortez) Cura, Cynthia (Fernando Gonzalez) Cura, Raul Cura III, Roel Guillen; 16 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; two siblings, Omar Cura and Elida Solis. 

Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. with a 6 p.m. rosary, Sunday, October 27, 2024, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. Monday, October 28, 2024, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna. 

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
