EDINBURG – Luz D. Ramos, 90, died Thursday, November 30, 2017, at Edinburg Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Ramos was born in Edinburg to Jose and Ventura Salinas on August 4, 1927.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Irineo Ramos Sr.; two sons, Rodrigo Ramos and Alejandro Ramos.
Luz is survived by seven children, Maria De La Luz Ramos, Rodrigo (Teresa) Ramos, Maria del Carmen (Oscar) Leal, Rigoberto (Dina) Ramos, Irineo (Esmeralda) Ramos Jr., Magdalena (Sergio) Salinas, Enrique (Patricia) Ramos; 20 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary today, December 1, 2017, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday, December 2, 2017, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
