CRISTINA RAMOS
PHARR- Cristina Ramos, 76, went home to the Lord Tuesday, January 8, 2019, at her residence in Pharr.
Born in Gral. Teran, N.L., she lived most of her life in Guadalupe, N.L. and moved to Pharr in 1990. Cristina was a member of St. Frances Xavier Cabrini Catholic Church for the last five years. She dedicated her life to her family and enjoyed cooking for them home meals. Mrs. Ramos will be greatly missed by family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jose Ramos.
Cristina is survived by six children, Jose Ramos, Beatrize (Francisco Javier) Jimenez, Eloisa (Javier) Quintanilla, Gabriela Ramos Olvera, all of Pharr, Armando (Monica Ramirez) Ramos of McAllen, Carlos (Kazey) Ramos of Pharr; 12 grandchildren, Paola B., Jennifer, Monica, Denise, Miguel, Ana Cristina, Karla, Jose, Amanda, Armando, Carlos, Luis; two great-grandchildren, Sophia and Diego.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Wednesday, January 9, 2019, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Thursday, January 10, 2019, at St. Frances Xavier Cabrini Catholic Church in Pharr. Cremation will take place at Memorial Cremation Center in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
