RAMON ARANDA

MCALLEN- Ramon Aranda, 70, passed away Thursday, August 7, 2025, at Edinburg Regional Hospital.

He is preceded in death by his daughter, Rosa Iliana Aranda; parents, Santiago and Gabriela Aranda; and his two siblings Miguel Aranda and Juana Aranda.

Ramon is survived by his wife of 52 years, Rosa Maria Ramirez de Aranda; two daughters, Flor de Dalia Aranda and Lucero Aranda; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and three siblings, Jesus Manuel Aranda, Ramona Aranda, and Aurelio Aranda.

Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. Sunday, August 10, 2025, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Monday, August 11, 2025, at St. Joseph the Worker in McAllen. Interment will follow at La Piedad Cemetery in McAllen.

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
