RAMIRO REYNA SR.

EDINBURG- Ramiro Reyna, Sr., 93, passed away Thursday, August 13, 2026, at Alfredo Gonzalez Texas State Veterans Home in McAllen.

Above all, Ramiro Reyna will be remembered for his deep love of family, his generosity and strong work ethic, his strong faith and the many lives he touched through his kindness. His presence will be deeply missed, but the love he gave and the memories he created will remain in the hearts of all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Elma Reyna; parents, Nemecio and Simona Reyna; and five siblings.

Mr. Reyna is survived by his four children, Yolanda (Steve) Hardin, Carmen Lynch, Ray (Miriam) Reyna, Jr, Cynthia (Gabriel Homar) Garza; five grandchildren, Lori Pasillas, Stephanie Nicole Reyna, Allyson Sanchez, Kaitlyn Lynch, Kyara Reyna; and four great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. with a 5 p.m. Memorial Service Saturday, August 22, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg.

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
