Remigia Ramirez, 97, went home to our Lord Monday, June 4, 2018, at Amara Hospice in Edinburg.
Born in Pharr, she had lived in Edinburg most of her life.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Amelio Ramirez.
Mrs. Ramirez is survived by her three sons, Reynaldo (Leonor) Ramirez, Manuel (Adalia) Ramirez, both of Pharr, Amelio (Diana) Ramirez Jr. of Austin; three daughters, Rosario (Abdiel) Cuevas, Rita Velma Ramirez, and Gisel (Israel) Silva, all of Edinburg; 14 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Tuesday, June 5, 2018, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 6, 2018, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
