Antonia Ramirez, 86, died Thursday, July 28, 2016 at Amara Hospice in Edinburg. Born in Leon, Guanajuato, Mexico, she had lived in San Juan for seven years.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Enrique Ramirez.
Mrs. Ramirez is survived by her children, Lorenzo Ramirez, Maria R. Gonzalez, Francisco Ramirez, Alejandra R. Gonzalez, Jose Ramirez, Manuel Ramirez, Pedro Ramirez, Maricela R. Garcia, Enrique Ramirez and Ines R. Mendoza; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and a sister, Consuelo Pina.
A prayer service was held, Thursday, July 28, 2016, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. Friday, July 29, 2016, at Iglesia Ebenezer in Weslaco. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
