AGUSTIN RAMIREZ
PHARR - Agustin Ramirez, 58, died Tuesday, October 13, 2009 in Houston, Texas.
Born in Clarksdale, Mississippi, Mr. Ramirez was formerly of Rio Grande City, Texas and had lived in Pharr for the past 17 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jesus and Ignacia Ramirez.
Mr. Ramirez is survived by his wife, Laurentina Ramirez; three daughters, Veronica (Angel) Lopez, Belinda (Jacinto) Sarabia and Priscilla (Isidro) Saldana, all of Pharr; seven grandchildren, Erinn, Marilyn, Alondra, Arleth, Agustin, Grecia Camila and Emiliano; four brothers, Armando Ramirez, Jesus Ramirez, Roel Ramirez and Gilberto Ramirez, all of Rio Grande City, Texas.
Visitation will be held from 3 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary, today, October 15, 2009 at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m., Friday, October 16, 2009 at St. Jude's Catholic Church in Pharr. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
