MARIA PRIETO PHARR – Maria Prieto, died Monday, April 21, 2014, at her home in Pharr. She is survived by her husband, Margarito Prieto; daughter, Magdalena Narayan; sons, Alvaro Prieto and Jose Margarito Prieto, Jr.; grandchildren, Sofia Prieto, Oscar Prieto, Sarah-Aditi Narayan, and Elias-Sai Narayan. Visitation will be held from 3:30 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary today, April 23, 2014, at Memorial Funeral Home at 311 E. Expressway 83 in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 2 p.m., Thursday, April 24, 2014, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish at 216 West 1st St., in San Juan. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens at 4607 N. Sugar Rd., in Pharr. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
