Porfiria Armijo

DONNA - Porfiria Armijo, 94, died Friday, January 23, 2026, at her residence in Donna. 

She is preceded in death by her husband, Paulino Armijo; a son, Paulino Armijo, Jr.; and a daughter, Irene Carmona.

Mrs. Armijo is survived by her ten children, Olga Ortiz, Marina Castro, Armando Armijo, Diana Gonzalez, Refugia Montoya, Pedro Armijo, Juan Manuel Armijo, Pilar Gutierrez, Josefina Sanchez, Miguel Armijo; 25 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren. 

Visitatation will begin at 5 p.m., with a 6 p.m. prayer service Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Thursday, January 29, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna. 

Funeral service are  under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in San Juan.
