Petra Palomares, 85, passed away Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Guadalupe Palomares Sr. and Juana M. Palomares; brothers, Catarino Palomares and Reynaldo Palomares; and sisters, Ramona Ramos, and Longina Salinas.
Miss Palomares is survived by brother, Guadalupe Palomares; seven sisters Belen (Reyes) Sepulveda, Raquel Falcon, Francisca Pina, San Juanita (Enrique) Acevedo, Paula (+Alejandro) Lopez, Maria Perales, and Teresa Palomares.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. with a 6 p.m. rosary Sunday, July 16, 2023, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Monday, July 17, 2023, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan. Interment will follow at San Juan Cemetery.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
