MARIA LILIA E. PEREZ EDINBURG – Maria Lilia E. Perez, 85, died Wednesday, December 17, 2014, at McAllen Heart Hospital. Maria was born in Edinburg and had lived there all of her life. She is preceded in death by her husband, Luis Perez; two sons-in-law, Roberto Salinas, Jr., Roberto Buentello; and her parents. Mrs. Perez is survived by four children, Dolores Buentello, Jose Luis Perez, Genoveva Salinas and Rosa (Luis) Carreon, all of Edinburg; 12 grandchildren; 29 great- grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary today, December 19, 2014, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday, December 20, 2014, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
