HILDA PEREZ
CUBA/EDINBURG – Hilda Perez, 71, passed away on November 21, 2019, at Amara Hospice in Edinburg.
Born in Havana, Cuba, she arrived in New Jersey in 1960, moved to Miami, FL in 1986 and spent the last 13 years in Edinburg, TX.
Hilda loved going to casinos and playing bingo. She was always ready for a great party and some dancing, and she always had a story to share with friends and family to make them laugh. Hilda loved her co-workers at Lacks whom she regarded as extended family.
She is preceded in death by her husband, William Machado; a brother, Albert Chavez; her parents, Juan Jose & Hildania Chavez.
Hilda is survived by her daughter, Jeanette (Thomas) Noone of McAllen; three siblings, Jose Chavez of Fort Lauderdale, FL , Vivian Caballero of Miami, FL , Rene Chavez of New Jersey.
The family would like to thank the staff of Amara Hospice for the excellent care given to Hilda.
Cremation was held at Memorial Cremation Center in Edinburg.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
