HERLINDA B. PEREZ EDINBURG – Herlinda B. Perez, 98, died Sunday, September 22, 2013, at her residence in Edinburg. Born in McAllen, Mrs. Perez had lived in Edinburg most of her life. She is preceded in death by her husband, Florencio Perez; and a son, Arturo Perez. Mrs. Perez is survived by three sons, Esteban († Carmen) Perez, of Escobares, Jose (Ofelia) Perez, of Illinois, Florencio (Guadalupe) Perez, of Greeley, Colorado; two daughters, Julia (Danny) Prock, of Casa Grande, Arizona, Maria Luisa (Ubaldo) Perez, of Edinburg; 35 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary today, September 24, 2013, at Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Wednesday, September 25, 2013, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
