PEDRO ALONZO

EDINBURG – Pedro Alonzo, 56, passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at Edinburg Regional Medical Center. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Elpidio Alva Alonzo and Juanita Mendez; two siblings, Jesus Alonzo and Elpidio Alonzo Jr. 

Mr. Alonzo is survived by his wife, Aida Alonzo; eight children, Yvette Marie (David) Hernandez, Tina Morales, Rodolfo Morales, Lina Morales, Jessica Caballero (Guadalupe Longoria), Amanda Garza (Abel Reyes), Joe Anthony Garza, Fernando Garza Arellano; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; seven sisters; and three brothers. 

Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. with a 6 p.m. rosary Friday, March 29, 2024, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. 

Cremation will take place at Memorial Cremation Center in Edinburg. 

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
