San Juan – Laura Magallan, 78, passed away, September 29, 2026, at her residence in San Juan.
Laura is survived by her husband; Adan Magallan, two daughters; Melissa Magallan, Olivia (Noah) Dennett, 2 grandchildren; Valerie Nicole (Steven) Solis and Ryan Michael Dennett, and five siblings Amelia Marinoff, Aurelia (Frankie) Hernandez, Margie (Jim) McNamara, Juan (Polly) Aguilera, and Greg (Frances) Aguilera.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Merced and Felipa Aguilera, and three sisters; Maria Nava, Mane Aguilera and Lee Aguilera.
Visitation will begin at 5 p.m., with a 6 p.m. rosary Sunday, October 4, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral Service will take place at 10 a.m. Monday, October 5, 2026, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in San Juan. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
