Paula L. Cavazos, 72, entered eternal rest Saturday, September 6, 2025, at DHR Health Hospice in Edinburg.
Paula was a lifelong resident of San Juan and was formerly employed at San Juan Nursing Home for 32 years.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Apolinar and Petra Lara; and nine siblings.
Paula is survived by her loving partner, Darrell Richard Coy; three children, Maricruz Cavazos (Federico) Perez, Robert Villarreal, Aracely Jeanette (Hector) Trevino; seven grandchildren, Tracey H. Perez, Thalia (Javier) Salinas, Federico Perez III, Jose A. (Yamilex) Perez, Joshua Villarreal, Matthew S. Trevino, Jaythan Villarreal; and five great-grandchildren, Ean J. Salinas, Kyda L. Salinas, Xavier L. Salinas, Jose A. Perez Jr., and Ruby C. Salinas.
Visitation will begin at 5 p.m., with a 6 p.m. prayer service Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at San Juan Cemetery.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
