MELISSA ORTIZ
ALAMO - Melissa Ortiz, 20, died Friday, June 4, 2010 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
She was born in Mission and had lived in Alamo all of her life.
Melissa is survived by her mother, Yolanda Guzman, of Alamo; two brothers, Sammy Guzman and Carlos Guzman, both of Pharr; and her maternal grandmother, Maria Hernandez, of Mission.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 pm, with a 7 pm rosary today, June 7, 2010, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 10 am Tuesday, June 8, 2010, at Resurrection Catholic Church in Alamo. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
