EDINBURG – Ariel Ortiz, 25, went home to our Lord Monday, January 14, 2019, at McAllen Medical Center.
Born in Edinburg, Ariel lived there all of her life.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Ruben and Mara Ortiz; and her maternal grandfather, Jose Reyes Rosales.
Ariel is survived by her maternal grandmother, Josefina “Chepa” Rosales of Edinburg; paternal grandparents, Francisca C. and Gonzalo L. Ortiz, both of Edinburg; her boyfriend, Michael Canales; and numerous aunts and cousins.
Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Wednesday, January 16, 2019, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 East Canton in Edinburg. Cremation will take place at Memorial Cremation Center in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
