ORLANDO VILLARREAL

EDINBURG - Orlando Villarreal, 93, passed away Sunday, June 15, 2025, at Arbor View Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Edinburg.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Dora Irene Villarreal; two grandchildren, Jose Esteban Gomez Jr., Angela Louise Villarreal; parents, Teodulo Villarreal and Cleotilde Cantu Villarreal; eight siblings, Ofelia, Oralia, Otila, Olivia, Olga. Teodulo, Osvaldo, and Oziel.

Mr. Villarreal is survived by his six children, Dora Irene Villarreal (Horacio) de Tamez, Orlando G. (Mirtha) Villarreal, Cesar G. (Araceli) Villarreal, Nancy M. (Marco Antonio) Perez, Francisco J. (Jill) Villarreal, Jorge L. (Dianabel) Villarreal; 15 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. 

Visitation will begin at 5 p.m., with a 6 p.m. rosary Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
