Orlando L. Orama
January 21, 1932 — June 9, 2025
EDINBURG –Orlando L. Orama, 93, passed away Monday, June 9, 2025, at Edinburg Regional Medical Center.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Juan and Aurea Orama; and a brother, Osvaldo Orama.
Mr. Orama is survived by his wife, Gladys Orama; five children, Liesel O. (Clayton) Simon, Lynne O. (Brad) Hamilton, Linette O. (Jonathan) Neal, Leslie O. (Brett) Kinman, Luis O. (Brittany) Orama; 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and three half siblings.
Visitation will begin at 5 p.m., with a 6 p.m. rosary Thursday, June 19, 2025, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Memorial service will take place at 8:30 a.m. Friday, June 20, 2025, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment of cremated remains will follow at Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery in Mission.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
