Oralia “Lala” Reyna Cavazos, 84, passed away Friday, June 6, 2025, at South Texas Health System in McAllen.
She is preceded in death by her daughter, Leticia Cavazos; her parents Jesus and Hortencia Reyna; and seven siblings, Jesus Reyna, Romeo Reyna, Rene Reyna, Lydia Mitchell, Soila Sanchez, Carolina Molina, and Manuela Reyna Garcia.
Mrs. Cavazos is survived by her husband of 62 years, Conrado G. Cavazos; two children, Celeste Cavazos and Humberto (Adelaida Castillo) Cavazos; three grandchildren, Vida Cavazos, Carlo Cavazos, and Phoenix Cavazos; a brother Ruben Reyna; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will begin at 4 p.m., with a 6 p.m. rosary Monday, June 9, 2025, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at Resurrection Catholic Church in Alamo. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
