Ofelia G. Barron

Ofelia G. Barron, 91, passed away Thursday, June 26, 2025, at her residence in Grand Prairie, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Santiago Barron; parents, Vicente Guzman and Elena Vazquez; four brothers, Enrique Guzman, Reymundo Guzman, Tomas Guzman, and Carlos Guzman.

Mrs. Barron is survived by her four children, Daniel Barron, Elva Nora Pineda, Maria Teresa Salazar, Diana (John) Garcia; 14 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; three siblings, Arcelia Montez, Estella Ramirez, and Abelia Guzman.

Visitation will begin at 5 p.m., with a 6 p.m. rosary Monday, June 30, 2025, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E Canton in Edinburg. Funeral services will take place at 9 a.m. Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
