OCTAVIO GOMEZ
EDINBURG – Octavio Gomez, 38, passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at Brooke Hospital in San Antonio.
Octavio is survived by his wife, Clarissa Garcia; three children, Hazzel Reneah Gomez, Hayley Rae Gomez, Octavio Gomez Jr.; mother, Susana (Luke “Chilo” Herrera) Gomez; and five siblings, Victor Gomez, Christopher (Sandy Ybarra) Gomez, Anthony (Karina Moreno) Gomez, Jennifer (Noe Martinez) Salazar and Adrian Salazar.
Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. with a 6 p.m. rosary Monday, April 20, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
