SAN JUAN - Francisco Obregon, 68, died Thursday, April 9, 2009 at McAllen Medical Center.
Born in Edinburg, Mr. Obregon had lived in San Juan for 24 years and was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan.
Mr. Obregon is survived by his wife, Gloria Obregon of San Juan; 11 children, Lisa (Cody) Novosad, Frank (Jariah) Obregon, Jr., Sandra (Peter) Fagan, Michael (Raquel) Obregon, Marilyn Obregon, Sharon (Mike) Coleman, Deanna (Javier) Delgado, Angela (Mark) Osuna, Tammy (Jim) Ashlin, Federico (Kennya) Rodriguez and Angie (Javier) Elizondo; 32 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; six sisters, Angelita (Miguel) Longoria, Guadalupe (Noe) Balli, Beatrice Obregon, Elva (Charlie) McLemore, Rosie (Leonel) Longoria, Sylvia (Hector) Mendez; and a brother, Joe (Maria) Obregon.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 9 pm, with a 7 pm memorial service, Monday, April 13, 2009 at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in San Juan.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
