NORMA MENDOZA DE GARZA
EDINBURG - Norma Mendoza De Garza, 69, passed away Thursday, August 20, 2026, at South Texas Health System Edinburg.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Juan Garza.
Mrs. Garza is survived by her five children, Jose Luis (Maribel) Garza, Juan Jose Garza, Elizabeth (Eduardo) Gaona, Esmeralda (Ovidio Garcia) Garza, Issi Garza; 12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and numerous siblings.
Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. with a 6 p.m. prayer service Sunday, August 23, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 8 a.m. Monday, August 24, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
