NORMA R. CERVANTES

ALAMO – Norma R. Cervantes, 64, passed away Saturday, April 11, 2026, at DHR Health Hospice in Edinburg.

Norma was a woman whose love knew no limits. She was selfless, nurturing, and truly one of a kind. Whether as a wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, or daughter, she gave her whole heart. She had a quiet strength and a beautiful way of making everyone feel cared for, seen, and loved.

As a grandmother, she went above and beyond in every way. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy, and she poured endless love, time, and attention into each of them. She created memories that will live on forever and leaves behind a legacy of unconditional love.

Mrs. Cervantes is survived by her loving husband, Erasmo Cervantes; three children, Vanessa Cervantes, Zerlynda Cervantes, Jaime (Lauren) Cervantes-Sandoval; five grandchildren, Carolina Campano, Angelina Tijerina, Matthew Cole, Michael Erasmo, Keira Sandoval; a great-grandchild, Ciro Campano; her parents, Felix and Adelina Ramos; three siblings, Raul Ramos, Felix Ramos, and Nora Hernandez.

Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. with a 6 p.m. Talk Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home, 311 E. Expressway 83 in San Juan. Dismissal will take place at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
