Lloyd Nolan

LLOYD NOLAN ALAMO - Lloyd Nolan, 64, lost his battle to lung cancer Thursday, January 9, 2014, in San Juan. Mr. Nolan was born in New York and lived in Alamo. He is preceded in death by his parents, Willie and John Nolan. Lloyd is survived by five children, William (Tammie) Nolan, of San Juan, Melissa Nolan, of Alamo, Duane (Deyanira) Nolan, of Edinburg, Freda (Rolly Anaya) Nolan, of San Juan, Clifford Wheat, of Pharr; ten grandchildren; four great- grandchildren; and two sisters, Geraldine "Jay" Giertz, of Corpus Christi, and Katherine Nunn, of Leakey. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. prayer service Friday, January 10, 2014, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, January 11, 2014, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
