NINFA HERNANDEZ
PHARR – Ninfa Hernandez, 86, passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at her residence in Pharr.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Guadalupe Hernandez Cantu; three children, Benancio Hernandez, Guadalupe Hernandez, Aldo Hernandez; and four siblings, Salvador Silva, Ofelia Cantu, Humberto Silva and Liborio Silva.
Ninfa is survived by her three children, Alberto Hernandez, Horacio (Patricia Vega), Rene (Francisca) Hernandez; seven grandchildren, seven great- grandchildren; and four siblings, Gilberto Silva, Baldemar Silva, Elena Hernandez and Ofilia Silva.
Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. with a 6 p.m. rosary Sunday, July 5, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Monday, July 6, 2026, at St. Jude Catholic Church in Pharr. Interment will follow at San Juan Cemetery.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
