Matilde "Mattie" Moss

Matilde "Mattie" Salas Moss, 87, completed her journey on Earth Monday, January 1, 2018 surrounded by her loved ones.
Mattie was a loving and devoted mother and friend. She had the most loving heart and touched many lives with her presence. She was an accomplished seamstress and loved to garden.
She is preceded in death by her brothers, Leonardo, Catarino, Agapito, Macario and Jose Rodriguez
Mattie is survived by three sons, Gilbert, Enrique and Raymond Salas; two daughters, Cynthia Salas, and Janine Garza; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., with an 11 a.m. rosary Friday, January 5, 2018 at Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
