Benito Moreno Jr., 90, passed away Saturday, December 25, 2021, at his residence in Alamo.
He is preceded in death by a son, Juan Ramon Moreno; two daughters, Blanca Estella Powell and Maria Carmen Dutton.
Mr. Moreno is survived by his wife, Santos G. Moreno; four children, Avalinda (Andy) Anderson, Benito (Deeanne) Moreno III, Teresa Silvas, Esteban (Lisa) Moreno; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and seven siblings.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. with a 6 p.m. rosary Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 9 a.m. Wednesday, January 5, 2022, at Resurrection Catholic Church in Alamo. Interment will follow at Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery in Mission.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
