AMALIA V. MOLINA
EDINBURG - Amalia V. Molina passed into eternal glory with our Heavenly Father on Saturday, October 22, 2022 surrounded by her beloved family at home.
Amalia was born on February 20, 1939 to Salvador and Estefana Villarreal in Encino, Texas. In June of 1960, she married the love of her life, Enrique Porfirio Molina.
She is preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Natalia Escalante; a daughter, Veronica Eve Molina; and a great-grandson, Eian Manuel Lerma.
Mrs. Molina is survived by her husband; five children, Maria Estefanita (Jose Ali) Martinez, Maria Elizabeth (Ruben) Navarro, Rosa Linda (Enrique) Moreno, Enrique Porfirio (Maria Lourdes) Molina, Jr. and Jessica Ann (Ricardo) Rios; a grandson who she raised, Abel Andrew Molina; along with 19 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and her siblings, Lucia Carrizales and Baldemar Villarreal.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Tuesday, October 25, 2022, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 East Canton in Edinburg. Funeral Mass will take place at 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 26, 2022, at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in San Manuel. Cremation will follow at Memorial Cremation Center in Edinburg.
