Macario Mireles, 90, passed away Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at his residence in Alamo.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Amanda Mireles; parents, Juan and Camila Mireles; siblings, Diocelina Romero, Anita Lara, Margarita Castillo, Ramona Mares, Elena Martinez, Andres Esparza, Vicenta Alvarado, Guadalupe Esparza, Maria Perez, and Manuela Guerrero.
Mrs. Mireles is survived by her 13 children, Francisco (Norma) Mireles, Trinidad (Floriberta) Mireles, Marcos (Rosabel) Mireles, Camila (Salvador) Mireles, Gustavo Mireles, Maribel Mireles, Daniel (Marisol) Mireles, Macario (Maria) Mireles, Gerardo Mireles, all of Alamo, Florestela (Eleazar) Limon of Donna, Leonor (Jim) Matano of New Braunfels, Juan (Maria) Mireles of Weslaco, Felicitas (Pablo) Alvarado Chavez of Monterrey; 38 grandchildren; 53 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; brother-in-law, Francisco Lopez of Del Rio; and a sister, Lucia Escobedo of Florida.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. with a 6 p.m. prayer service Monday, January 24, 2022, and 1 to 8 p.m. with a 6 p.m. prayer service, Tuesday, January 25, 2022. Funeral service will take place at 1 p.m. Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at Iglesia Nueva Jerusalem in Lopezville. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
