MELITON RODRIGUEZ GARCIA
EDINBURG – Meliton Rodriguez Garcia, 82, passed away Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at South Texas Health System McAllen.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Juan Rodriguez and Catarina Garcia; and mother of his children, Juanita Martinez.
Mr. Rodriguez is survived by his three children, Sylvia (Hector Lopez) Franco, Daniel Rodriguez, Linda Rodriguez; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. with a 6 p.m. rosary Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
