MELIDA RODRIGUEZ DE RUBIO
Edinburg–Melida Rodriguez De Rubio,72, passed away Monday, May 11, 2026, at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Refugio Rodriguez and Manuela Gonzalez, and a brother Jose Rodriguez.
Melida is survived by her children, Maira Rubio (Alfredo) Alejos, Julio Cesar (San Juanita) Rubio Quintero, Nancy Rubio; six grandchildren; four siblings Hermila Rodriguez, Virginia Rodriguez, Alvaro Rodriguez, Cipriano Rodriguez.
Visitation will begin at 5 p.m., with a 6 p.m. rosary, Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 14, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of San Juan.
