BARTOLO MEDRANO EDINBURG — Bartolo Medrano, 84, died Friday, August 21, 2015, at Grand Terrace Nursing Home in McAllen. Born in Michigan, Mr. Medrano had lived in Edinburg for the past 30 years and was formerly of Hereford, TX. Bartolo is preceded in death by his wife, Barbarita Medrano; a son, Vence Olivarez; and his parents, Fidencio and Guadalupe Medrano. Mr. Medrano is survived by three children, Claro (Carol) Medrano, Reynaldo (Adriana) Medrano, both of Dallas, Guadalupe (Ezequiel) Garcia of Edinburg; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. prayer service Suday, August 23, 2015, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. Monday, August 24, 2015, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
