Jason M. McCarthy, 40, originally from Buffalo, NY, passed away suddenly Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at his residence in Edinburg.
He was employed by the State of Texas as a correctional officer.
Jason was the beloved husband of Jennifer L. McCarthy; father of Trinity, Bradly, and Trenton McCarthy; loving son of Kim (David) Sobecky and Michael (Katherine) McCarthy; brother to Amanda (Peter McConville) McCarthy. He is also survived by his favorite uncle, Brian McCarthy; and two nephews, Dylan and Ryley McCarthy.
Cremation will take place at Memorial Cremation Center in Edinburg. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
