TEOFILO MARTINEZ
SAN JUAN – Teofilo Martinez, 74, died Wednesday, October 5, 2011, at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen.
Mr. Martinez was born in Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Mexico and had lived in San Juan most of his life.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Librado and Concepcion Martinez; and four brothers.
Mr. Martinez is survived by his wife, Dominga Salazar Martinez, of San Juan; two sons, Alfredo (Dolores) Martinez, of Alice, Texas, Jose Alonzo Martinez, of San Juan; six daughters, Aracely (Ceasar) Perez, Ana Alicia Martinez, Avelinda Martinez, Annette Martinez, Angelina Martinez, Alejandra Martinez, all of San Juan; 18 grandchildren; six sisters; and a brother.
A prayer service was held Thursday, October 6, 2011, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. today, October 7, 2011, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
