NEMECIO "NENCHO" MARTINEZ SAN JUAN — Nemecio "Nencho" Martinez, 72, died Tuesday, September 22, 2015, at Amara Hospice in Edinburg. Nemecio is preceded in death by his son, Adrian Martinez; and his parents, Espetacion and Rosa P. Martinez. Mr. Martinez is survived by his wife, Gloria Hernandez of San Juan; three children, Arnoldo (Maria) Martinez, Esmeralda (Pablo) Garcia, both of San Juan, Griselda (Ricardo) Martinez of Mission; nine grandchildren; four brothers; and three sisters. Visitation will be held from 4 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. prayer service Monday, September 28, 2015, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Tuesday, September 29, 2015, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
